Daniel Fine
Theatre Arts | Dance | Public Digital Arts
Tenure Dossier
Welcome,
I am an Assistant Professor of Digital Media for Live Performance at the University of Iowa. I have a joint appointment in Theatre Arts and Dance and I am a core faculty member of the Public Digital Arts cluster. My research and teaching are grounded in theatrical, embodied, and cinematic storytelling techniques and I use these art forms as a foundation in teaching and in my artistic practice to explore how new narratives are told and encountered in order to engage the imaginations and hearts of a twenty-first century audience.
This website presents research, teaching and service for my tenure review, highlighting work since my start date at the University of Iowa in August 2016. To see my full portfolio, please visit danielfine.net. Note, my linked CV is inclusive of my entire professional and academic career.
